By 1851 the  population had fallen risen to 10,571. This Census has not yet been transcribed. So for the time being this remains an unsearchable item.

The 1861 Census for Redruth contains a list of  11,504 which was to be the highest population recorded in the parish and would not be suspassed for 120 years. This Census has not yet been transcribed. So for the time being this remains an unsearchable item.

The 1871 Census for Redruth contains a list of 10,685 a fall of 819.  The 1871 census has been transcribed.
